The Friends of Knox Farm State Park serve the community by enhancing and maintaining three key historic properties at Knox Farm State Park: the Stables, the Mansion, and the Guest House; providing educational and cultural experiences; collaborating with local event planners to provide concerts, music festivals, and other special events; planting trees throughout the park; and providing a bee-keeping program. In addition, the Friends have a volunteer Garden Club that donates hundreds of hours every year to planting and maintaining the Secret Garden and the gardens surrounding the three key properties. Through the Friends stewardship and our partnership with New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation Office, over half a million visitors come to the park each year to enjoy this beautiful natural asset in our community.
