Your Free Guide to Everything Buffalo

BuffaloVibe is a community-driven, ad-free local magazine covering events, businesses, lifestyle, and everything worth knowing about the city of Buffalo. No paywalls. No ads. Just local.

A community magazine, not a media company

BuffaloVibe has been connecting Buffalo residents with their city since 2011. We cover local events, neighborhoods, arts, food, and the people who make Buffalo worth living in — all without charging you a dime or showing you a single ad.

We believe local media should serve the community, not advertisers. Everything on this site is free to read, free to use, and free to contribute to. Creating an account gives you the ability to submit events, manage business listings, and get more from the site.

Events Calendar

Browse and submit local events — concerts, festivals, art shows, markets, and more. Free to post, free to discover.

Local Guide

A curated directory of Buffalo businesses, restaurants, shops, and services. Claim your listing for free and connect with local customers.

Lifestyle & Stories

Editorial coverage of Buffalo culture, neighborhoods, food, and events — written with a local perspective, not a press release.

Movie Showtimes

Up-to-date local movie showtimes, all in one place. No app needed.

Zero Ads

We do not run display ads, pop-ups, or paid editorial. What you read is editorial, not sponsored content dressed up as news.

Your Privacy

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. We collect only what we need to run the site.

Support the site — and get something back

The site is free to use. But if you have an event you want more people to see, or a business that could use more visibility, we offer two optional paid features that help keep the lights on while giving you real value in return.

Event Promotion

Promote Your Event

$20 per event

Give your event a boost. Promoted events appear in featured placements across the homepage, category pages, and our events calendar — ahead of the general listing. Great for ticketed shows, markets, fundraisers, and anything where audience size matters.

  • 1 Create a free account. Registration takes under a minute. All you need is a name and email address. No credit card required.
  • 2 Submit an event. From your dashboard, you can add an event to the calendar — concerts, pop-ups, classes, community meetings, anything public. Events are reviewed and usually go live within 24 hours.
  • 3 Claim or add your business. If your business isn't in the Local Guide yet, add it for free. If it's already listed, claim it to manage the details and photos.
  • 4 Promote something important. When you submit an event, you'll have the option to boost it for $20. Promoted events appear above the standard listing and get more eyes on them.
