You’ve got to love the concept of “the local.” I’m talking about the everybody-knows-your-name neighborhood bar whose wall decorations are etched in your brain and whose bar stool feels like an old friend. What it all added up to was the conclusion that the Snyder Bar & Grill is a simple, unassuming success. Is it wildly original? No. But as a local— yours, mine, ours—it’s just right. “RELAX,” indeed.
