Buffalo Bills Training Camp 2013
Do you hear that? That’s the sound of football in the air, as the NFL season kicks off in 42 days on Thursday, September 5th, 2013 – 8:30pm with the defending champion Baltimore Ravens visiting the Denver Broncos. We at Buffalo Vibe could not be more excited to bring you hometown Buffalo Bills coverage this season throughout training camp and beyond. In the upcoming weeks, look for previews of the 2013 season, position battle breakdowns, top questions that we will give our opinion on, and expanded coverage from the tailgate into the stadium.
The Bills kick off their 14th year of camp at the beautiful St. John Fisher College near Rochester, NY on Sunday evening, July 28, and below is the schedule for the practices open to the public. Note that the night practices need a ticket for entry, and these can be picked up, free of charge, at Verizon Wireless locations in the Buffalo and Rochester area. Keep in mind that they do sell out quickly. I encourage fans to make at least one trip to the family-friendly camp area this summer, and definitely bring the kids as there are numerous activities to keep them busy.
There is as much buzz surrounding the Bills this year as I can remember. With a new coaching regime led by Doug Marrone, and a possible stud 1st round quarterback in E.J. Manuel, there is hope in the air that we can end our painfully long playoff drought sooner rather than later.
