5 "Made in Buffalo" Companies You Should Know About

While Buffalo has no shortage of hometown pride when it comes to T-shirts and (*sigh) Zubaz, there are so many other products available to showcase your love for The Nickel City. So, Buffalo Dandy has put together his Top 5 "Made in Buffalo" products and companies you should know about. Let's get started.

First on the list is a favorite of ours: Oxford Pennant. Featured in the past on BuffaloDandy.com, the fine folks at Oxford Pennant have been busy this past year creating a handful of wonderfully vintage felt pennant flags for various cities as well as Buffalo.

Another company that is making some awesome Buffalo-proud gear is Buffalo Made Co. A lifestyle brand inspired by the street and skate culture of Buffalo. Their collection of hats, tees and sweaters all pay homage to the history of the city with a streetwear twist. A favorite of ours have to be these subtle enamel pins inspired by famous Buffalo companies of old. It goes to show that not every product needs to scream "BUFFALO AND PROUD!" Save that for the Bills game.

Speaking of the Bills, Buffalo Dandy has only recently heard of Ian Michael Co., but they've already been making a big slash in several downtown stores. These Bills colored socks with the buffalo on top would make a fine addition to any Dandy's outfit.

It would be futile to not include at least one t-shirt on this list, so we chose the most bad-ass of them all. Rise Collaborative is a group of artists, activists and volunteers all working together to make Buffalo a better place. We all know the city is on the rise, show your support with this tee.

Lastly, we couldn't help but throw in a little self promotion. Show the world that you are a true Buffalo Dandy with the Official Buffalo Dandy Cap. Made by Buffalo's own New Era Cap Co.
