The Olear Team at MJ Peterson Real Estate has announced it will make a donation to Meals on Wheels with every house they sell in Western New York. The donations will be made to Meals on Wheels for Western New York, Amherst Meals on Wheels or Ken-Ton Meals on Wheels, depending on the location of the sale.

Meals on Wheels fulfills a critical need by providing nutritious meals and human companionship to homebound and disabled members of the community. Their vision is to ensure that every member of our community will receive a meal that meets their nutritional needs.

“We are honored to be able to support the mission of these organizations as they care for some of the most vulnerable populations in Western New York, including homebound seniors, individuals with disabilities and those recovering from injury or illness,” said Michael Olear, lead broker with the Olear Team. “Not only do Meals on Wheels volunteers bring wholesome food to individuals across the region, they also provide an important service by visiting with them and checking on their wellbeing.”

The Olear Team will keep an ongoing tally of the number of meals donated on their website at olear.com. Visitors to olear.com/donate can also learn more about the programs and make their own donations. Donations like these ensure that no one is denied service because he or she is unable to pay.

The Olear Team provides personalized, exceptional service for all aspects of residential real estate in Western New York. The team was founded by lead broker Michael Olear as an S-corp housed under MJ Peterson Real Estate. The Olear Team works throughout Erie and Niagara counties. The team has been specializing in assisting older adults with real estate sales since the year 2000 and has facilitated hundreds of these moves.
