Summer Cocktail Series: Absinthe Rattlesnake Fizz

Absinthe is a drink with a rough reputation. You’ve likely heard that it’s illegal, it makes you hallucinate, it can kill you, etc. All of this couldn’t be further from the truth. For more on that, check out my post from earlier this year honoring National Absinthe Day. In there, you’ll learn the true history of the Green Fairy, find the common myths debunked, and truths exposed.

But that’s not what we’re here for today. As you very well know by now, all summer we’ve been featuring a different cocktail each week. This week, we decided to go with something a little different. It’s called the Rattlesnake Fizz. Now, even we were skeptical, as none of us had tried this before. But we made it yesterday, and all of us (5 people in total) loved it.

So check out the recipe below, and give it a try. You might be surprised you have a taste for absinthe, and this could open a lot of new doors for you in terms of cocktails. Cheers!
