Store More Beer (Safely) in Your Fridge with the bottleLoft

Picture this: you’ve just come home from the grocery store. You’ve got a fresh carton of milk, some eggs, orange juice, veggies and produce (hopefully), and whatever else you choose to draw your sustenance from. You also likely have some beer. And most of it needs to go in the fridge. But there’s no space.

So, what do you do? You rearrange; put this over there, put that over there, squeeze a couple of beers onto the condiment shelf, and close the refrigerator door, ever-so-lightly, so as not to disrupt your carefully constructed house of cards.

We’ve all been here. It’s a sticky situation, and for those of us who aren’t lucky enough to own a designated beer fridge or kegerator, it’s an unavoidable situation. Until now, that is...

Enter bottleLoft, the latest in amazing beer-related Kickstarter projects.

As Brian Conti, the man behind bottleLoft puts it, “The introduction of a 6-pack or 12-pack of bottled beverages into my refrigerator creates space havoc.” So after pondering this problem for some time, Conti kept coming back to the unused space at the top of his refrigerator. And then it hit him. Magnets…

You see, Conti is a veteran on Kickstarter, with six previous projects, many of which included the use of magnets. And so the bottleLoft was born. The idea, albeit somewhat simple and intuitive, is just genius. And I’m not the only one who thinks so. Brian has 11 days left, and he’s already doubled his funding goal.
