Explore Buffalo to offer Docent Training

Ready to be a part of the great Buffalo renaissance? Here’s your opportunity to share your love of Buffalo with fellow Buffalonians and out of town visitors. Being an Explore Buffalo docent is a great way to meet new people within the organization and its many community partners. Plus, Explore Buffalo organizes additional social events for their docents and volunteers.

An information session about the 2018 Winter Docent Training Program will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at First Presbyterian Church of Buffalo, located at One Symphony Circle. This will be a one-hour overview of the training program and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Please RSVP to brad@explorebuffalo.org if you plan to attend.

The actual training program will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday mornings, from Feb. 3 through March 24. New docents will be trained for the Masters of American Architecture downtown walking tour. Anyone interested in joining the Winter Docent Training Program should fill out the online application form available at www.explorebuffalo.org. The application deadline is Friday, Jan. 19.
