Sensory Hour at the Botanical Gardens

Experience the Botanical Gardens in a calm, welcoming atmosphere during Sensory Hour—an event designed for individuals with sensory, developmental, or physical needs and their families. Enjoy a peaceful visit with reduced sounds, fewer crowds, and an environment that supports comfort and exploration. Capacity is limited to 50 guests to ensure a relaxed setting. Advance registration is highly recommended.

We welcome our friends from The Summit Center during Sensory Hour. The Summit Center is Western New York’s leading expert on autism spectrum disorder. Through their educational, behavioral health, and community integration programs, they support more than 1,100 children and adults each year with autism and other developmental disabilities. For more than 50 years, they’ve given people the tools to achieve their greatest potential.
